Each June, California State Parks hosts State Parks Week to celebrate the amazing beauty and diversity of California’s State Park System.
Through virtual and in-person events and programs, State Parks and their partners hope to celebrate, share, and expand all of our connection to these special landscapes throughout California.
You can celebrate State Parks Week by exploring the Bay Area Ridge Trail! Of California’s 280 state park units, the Ridge Trail can take you through eight of them, all of which happen to be located in the North Bay region.
Keep reading to learn more about the Ridge Trail sections winding through State Parks, and how you can visit them to celebrate State Parks Week!
