Agency Membership

With a mission to plan, promote and sustain a connected hiking, cycling, and equestrian trail on the ridgelines around San Francisco Bay—linking people, parks and open space for today and future generations, we invite you to join as an Agency Member today.

Advocacy. Action. Adventure.

As a small but mighty organization, we’ve built over 400 hard-earned miles and are working furiously to open the last 150 miles. The Ridge Trail Council’s work includes trail planning and design, funding for trail projects, advocating for public agencies and governments to build new sections of trail, developing strategies for closing “gaps” in the network, and stewardship and promotion of dedicated Ridge Trail, plus an ongoing offering of trail outings and events.

Ridge Trail agency members support our work in these key areas:

  • Advocacy & community engagement from our members and supporters
  • Cross-agency coordination and convening
  • Trail planning and design expertise
  • Funding & Partnership Support on grants and specific project funding
  • Trail Stewardship
  • Events, Outings, and Promotion
