This trail offers opportunities to slow down, enjoy the creek, trailside flora and fauna, and views up the steep slopes to the sky on either side of the narrow canyon.

The Ridge Trail in remote Moore Creek Park climbs high onto the exposed east slopes of the Moore Creek canyon, offering sweeping views, then descends and heads up the shaded scenic creek corridor to a series of creek pools. The exposed Vista Valentine Trail is hot in summer so hike early in the day or in cooler weather.

Elevation Gain/Loss 880 feet/450 feet one-way
