This fully multi-use segment of Ridge Trail winds through gatherings of blue and live oaks, notable chaparral ecosystems, and up to ridges that overlook the Suisun Valley and beyond. In the spring, visitors can enjoy lively streams and take in abundant wildflowers that call the park home. The Ridge Trail is just one of the many paths in the 1,500 acre-park, offering endless possibilities for loops and connections.

This Ridge Trail section has been named in honor of Doris Klein (1926–2022), a Ridge Trail founder, board member, outing leader and tireless Solano County trail advocate. As a dedicated champion of the Ridge Trail, she played a pivotal role in connecting the trail throughout Solano County and beyond.

Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi (pronounced: Put.win.no War.klaw Kaw.doy De.he) means Southern Rock Home of the Patwin people. These words are from the Patwin language, spoken in this region for time immemorial. This name was given by the Council of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, the descendants of the Patwin people who are the original stewards of this land.
