The Bay Area Ridge Trail is a proud member of the Bay Area Trails Collaborative (BATC)a group of more than 50 member organizations, businesses and agencies working together to complete a 2,600-mile trail network linking the region’s nine counties. BATC is connecting trails throughout the Bay Area to improve the overall quality of life in the region by

  • Creating more opportunities for recreation and active transportation,
  • Improving health and wellness,
  • Addressing health disparities in underserved communities,
  • Reducing pollution and greenhouse gases and
  • Promoting environmental sustainability.

 

In January 2022, BATC completed their new interactive map of the trail network developing in our region. Click on the map image to visit the interactive map and explore the existing and proposed trails within the Bay Area trail network.

Get Involved with BATC

If you'd like to help make this 2,600-mile trail network a reality, there are many ways to get involved!
