Saturday February 17, 2018 – Make your voice heard about the about the proposed Vallejo Bluff Trail! Take a walk or ride on the Bay Area Ridge Trail to the Carquinez Bridge bike path and scenic overlook to get a view of the planned trail route on the east side of I-80. The City of Vallejo is providing design oversight which could help close a critical gap along the Carquinez Strait Scenic Loop Trail, where five trails of regional and state significance meet (the Ridge Trail, Bay Trail, Great California Delta Trail, San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail and the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail). As a result, this 50-mile trail loop will eventually encircle the Carquinez Strait—an eight-mile long channel connects San Francisco and San Pablo Bays with Suisun Bay and the Sacramento River Delta.
