Length: 1.3 mile
Elevation: 600 feet
Description:
This 1.3 mile loop trail is located on a trail easement on a private ranch. It is accessed from the segment of Ridge Trail in Skyline Wilderness Park, a 4 mile trip. (This is also called the Skyline Trail). The entire round trip from Skyline is about 10 miles, with about 600 feet of elevation change.
The trail was damaged during the 2007-2008 winter months, but has been restored by Ridge Trail volunteers, the Napa County California Conservation Corps, and Council Trail Steward John Aranson. According to John, the trail is now "in better shape than ever." Now is a great time to hike or ride this section of the Ridge Trail!
Regulations:
This trail is maintained by the Council and patrolled by volunteers. The rules of Skyline Wilderness Park must be followed when accessing the Napa Solano Ridge Trail.
Directions:
From Highway 39 In Napa, turn east on Imola Avenue. After passing the Napa State Hospital, look for the Skyline Wilderness Park entrance on the right.
