The Ridge Trail Cruz is Back!
The popular Ridge Trail Cruz returns on October 3 with brand new hikes and rides! Don’t miss this fun event and the chance to explore an incredible stretch of Ridge Trail through the Santa Cruz Mountains on a supported adventure! Shuttles for hikers and cyclists allow one-way trips and there are equestrian and family-friendly outings too.
Hike options range from 8 - 27 miles and cyclists can choose 30 or 34-mile rides. Long-distance hikers and all cyclists will explore the very newest Ridge Trail stretch – the beautiful John Nicholas Trail in Sanborn County Park. Equestrians will ride a fabulous loop in the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD). A family hike for kids under 12 and up to two adults will explore 5-miles of trail, led by MROSD docents.
The $75 fee for members ($50 for Equestrians) includes a light breakfast, shuttle, rest stops, full gourmet lunch, maps, guides and sweeps, amazing views and great camaraderie.
