Celebrate the Ridge Trail on the
East Bay Hills Benefit Hike & Ride!
September 2-7, 2015
Hike & Ride an Annual Tradition
Join the 8th annual East Bay Hills Trail Benefit Hike (& 14th annual Ride) - and support local trails! The Tilden-Wildcat Horsemen’s Association and the Metropolitan Horsemen’s Association host this 5-day hike/6-Day equestrian ride. For the sixth year, we are proud to have Volunteers for Outdoor California as a co-sponsor.
Hikers and riders are mostly on different trails during the day, while sharing meals, stories & camaraderie, and enjoying entertainment each evening.
The Hike Details
The East Bay Hills Trail Benefit Hike starts Wednesday at Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills and ends Sunday in Castro Valley, covering about 55 miles of varied terrain, and the stunning views for which the Bay Area is famous, on the Bay Area Ridge Trail and connected pathways. Daily hike mileage will range between 9 and 12 miles.
Your hike will be fully supported, with all meals and campsites included. Camping gear is shuttled between campsites for you, allowing you to hike each day with only a daypack.
