The newest section of Ridge Trail has been dedicated in Calistoga!
On November 10th, a new section of Ridge Trail was dedicated on the iconic Lower Oat Hill Mine Trail in Calistoga. This 4.5 mile trail follows an historic carriage and mining road, crossing seasonal creeks as it climbs through oak woodlands and chaparral, offering clear views of the Napa Valley and Mt. St. Helena. This is the second section of the new "GoNorth" Ridge Trail route to be dedicated in Napa County this year.
A celebration co-hosted by the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council and the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District was held at Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, in partnership with the City of Calistoga, Napa Valley Vine Trail Coalition and the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce.
