REI Grant to support Ridge Trail Stewardship

sercay09ebmudlookingbackamberhoffman rei volunteer t-shortThe goal of REI's 2013 Grants program is to "Maintain and grow diverse, accessible and popular areas where REI members recreate." A perfect match for the Council's mission to create a continuous 550+-mile trail for hikers, mountain bicyclists, and equestrians along the ridgelines overlooking San Francisco Bay, providing close-to-home access to millions of Bay Area residents. This generous donation will support our Volunteer and Stewardship efforts, including the REI - Ridge Trail Service Day, and other programs and volunteer work..

We deeply appreciate REI's wonderful and ongoing support. REI has been a superb partner over the years, aiding the Council's work through grants, supporting our fun trail events such as the East Bay Hills 5-Day Benefit Hike and Ridge to Bridge, and partnering with the Council on the REI - Ridge Trail Service Day, National Trails Day, the Ridge to Wine  series and other volunteer trail work parties.

T hank you REI!!
